Circumstances

It's hard to imagine life beyond our own. The only experiences we can only truly know are the ones that we live. Everyone processes things differently and all of them are inherently unique as well. I find myself trying to view things from different perspectives, but the concept of every single person on this planet having their own day to day lives is much too grand to even begin to understand.

For example, that kid that pushed you in the halls as you tried to go to class might have needed to see their teacher urgently because they have a test and they needed clarification. However, in the hustle and bustle, you probably just assumed that they are simply a rude person with no sense of personal space. Every other person there are individual beings as well and are also probably as annoyed and stressed out as you are. That kid who cried because they failed a test maybe isn't dramatic and may be up for a verbal battle with their parents. And maybe that kid who constantly is refusing to eat doesn't understand how other children on the other side of the world are starving and would dream to have a real meal.

But I want you all to know that this isn't supposed to be invalidating anyone's feelings by saying, "Oh your life is not that bad; other people have it way worse." This is simply to say that people experience things differently and that people are allowed to be sad, angry, and frustrated, as well as being happy.

FAQ

- "What does the title of your blog even mean?" It is a fairly popular Latin phrase that means "toward better things". I hope to learn and grow and become a better person by the end of this school year. Also, Latin is quite fascinating, and I want to learn it, but nobody really speaks in Latin anymore, so it wouldn't be that useful for me.
